A Taste of Life prides itself on being versatile and creative no matter what the occasion. From simple BBQ's to gourmet cooking we intend to give you an event not soon forgotten. Each party is planned with every detail addressed so you can relax and enjoy!

Menchu Andres, Chef / Owner - Menchu is from a small town in the North of Spain. Her family owned and operated a restaurant in Valladolid, Spain. Working for six years in the restaurant taught her not only culinary skills but also how to operate a business. Her cooking abilities were born from her passion for good food. Cooking also allows her to express her creative side. Her specialties are traditional chicken paella and Spanish tortilla. Her latest creation of crab croquettes are a frequent request. Her entrepreneurial spirit and creative desires have produced "A Taste of Life Catering". She takes special care in providing everyone at all of her events with "hands-on service". Accommodating all necessary requests is a priority. Everyone is "Welcome" in her kitchen!

Laurie Lenhart, Event Coordinator / Marketing - Laurie enjoys working in the customer service industry. She started many years ago working in several restaurants from Anaheim, CA to Boston, MA. Her creative side came out later as she pursued a career as a nail technician. She spent 14 years providing excellent service and quality work to a large client list, so large, in fact, that she no longer accepted new customers. She learned what it took to own and operate a successful business. After relocating to the Bay Area from Southern California she took time off to raise her two children. Now her partnership with A Taste of Life has allowed her to indulge her creative side and her passion for working with people. Her excellent communication skills and creativity is a huge asset to our company. "I really enjoy seeing people have fun in life and knowing I helped create that is very rewarding for me."

Lauryn Adams, Sous-Chef - Lauryn graduated from the California Culinary Academy located in San Francisco, CA. She was trained in International cuisines and has extensive knowledge in baking. She graduated in 2004. After graduating she received her work experience at Toscana Italian Restaurant, Concord, CA. Her love of cooking was discovered by spending time baking with her Grandmother. She has not only brought her culinary skills to A Taste of Life but she also has created many of our homemade desserts. Her specialties are Coq Av Vin, a delicious chicken dish served with a white wine broth and rib-eye steak served with a mushroom sauce. Last but not least is her mouth-watering lemon tart! A Taste of Life is proud to have her as part of our team.
