Laurie, just a note to let you and Menchu know how much Chris and I enjoyed your catered event under the stars.

First I want to say that when I saw what an aggressive menu Menchu had planned both for appetizers and main course, I wasn't sure how she could pull this off with everything served hot and a continuous flow of dishes.

However, I have to say not only did she pull this off, everything was done to perfection and spot on!!! There were absolutely no misses, a very organized progression of dishes, warm dishes and plenty of food.

As I mentioned everything was wonderful but I got to tell you the chicken paella, crab croquettes (best I've had ever) and picante mushrooms were stand outs on the appetizers. Again when the main dishes were serve d all were hot, progressed nicely and there was plenty as well.

The pork Tuscan, tri tip and chicken marsala were fabulous. Menchu certainly highlighted her chef skills with the menu and execution. The wine selection was also excellent and married very well with your pairings.

And what would a party be without the front of the house? Your staff did a stand up job of keeping the food coming on step, good rotation with the crowd, courteous in a very sincere way, and smartly dressed I migh t add, in your "A Taste of Life" attire.

It would be my pleasure to refer A Taste of Life to anyone I know for your catering services as well as use your services personally.
